Do You Know That

Do You Know That…  ?
A – … wood is an organic substance that comes from woody plants (plants with woody fibres), and is composed mainly of cellulose and lignin (as “glue”)?
B – … laminated wood is produced not from wasted/ residual wood, but only of massive wood?
C - … laminated wood is actually the improved version of wood (massive wood)?
D - … laminated wood was invented in order to eliminate the natural tendency of gradual deformation that appears in time?
To be honest, this is a common problem for any living creature, and natural wood is an organic (living) substance, and not an exception from the rule!
E - … the purpose of laminating massive wood was that of eliminating the internal pressures (efforts) inside each fibre of wood?
After some time, these pressures can generate many problems (i.e. torsion/ bending/ deformation of the initial shape of the wood carpentry).
F - … the laminated wood is the only 100% ecological material, used worldwide in manufacturing windows and doors?
G - … if accidentally there starts a fire, the laminated wood windows and doors are the only ones that can still be used/ opened (even while they are burning with open flame) ?
This aspect makes possible the rescue mission and saving human lives.
H - … laminated wood used in windows and doors manufacturing is the best, the most resistant, the ecological solution, the most noble, the warmest – not only as aesthetics, but also as thermal protection of the building.
I - … the mechanical resistance of the laminated wood carpentry begins with the assembling all the wooden elements of a window/ door and continues to consolidate as we add more and more safety systems, reinforcements, protection, supporting and closing hardware.

NOTE:
There are many interesting facts and even paradoxes of the thermo-pane glass carpentry – framed by profiles of laminated wood, PVC or aluminium -, but we can affirm that laminated wood represents the best option of all.
